Savour some local cuisine.
One of my favourite bajan meals, which I take friends from abroad who want to sample some local flavour, is Musters in Bridgetown. It’s in a wooden building off of Broad Street. Ask any local for directions. The atmosphere is local and tourist.
Another, Brown Sugar for the buffet or dinner! Call ahead for reservations. It’s busy around lunchtime.
For a feel good bajan time, each Friday and Saturday night hundreds of locals and visitors flock to Oistins for the Fish-Fry, an opportunity to enjoy the very best local food - fried and grilled fish, fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie, and coleslaw and so much more. Must advise to go down early, as it gets busy with the crowd and music.
For a more Bohemian surfer-relaxing feel check out there daily special at Mike's Bar at CoralHouse Restaurant in Silver Sands.
